Lapsang Souchong is a traditional Chinese black tea known for its smoky flavour, created by drying the tea leaves over pine fires. It produces a rich, full-bodied infusion with notes of wood smoke balanced by the natural flavour of black tea. Suitable for drinking on its own, it is a distinctive tea with a strong character.
Brewing tip - Use a warmed teapot and put 1 heaped teaspoon per person of Steenbergs loose Lapsang Souchong tea leaves into the pot, add freshly boiled water and leave to infuse for 5 minutes.

PACKAGING
All dried food orders are packed in home compostable brown paper bags. Some food items contain natural oils which may be absorbed by the brown paper bags. Some natural oils may seep through onto other items. We recommend putting your dried food items in airtight or semi airtight containers to retain freshness.
