Butter beans are packed full of protein and fibre making them the perfecr addition to soups, stews or making your own dips.
Soak the butter beans in water for 8 hours, then drain and simmer in fresh water for 1–2 hours until tender. Aromatics such as onion or garlic can be added during cooking to enhance flavour.
